Drawing on more than 25 years of experience, Michael Melford advises and represents clients in the United States and throughout the world in the fields of entertainment, publishing, advertising, and the arts. He concentrates on protection of intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademarks, and on transactions involving the exploitation of creative works. His clients include television and radio talent and producers, newspaper and book publishers, composers, performing artists, record companies, and advertising agencies.

Mr. Melford received his law degree, cum laude, from Boston College Law School. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and California. Before entering the practice of law, he was a record producer and composer, producing more than 100 record albums and winning a Grammy Award.
